The Anti-Scissoring Bar is designed to prevent the patient’s limbs from crossing over the midline during ambulation. This is done by producing a barrier at the ankle level or knee level. This design is favored over other forms of anti-scissoring devices because other methods strengthen the adductor muscles which encourage the scissoring action.

The Anti-Scissoring Bar is made out of a durable steel frame and solid wood padded with a 3/8” Rubatex covering for added protection. It is designed for the WalkAble™, WalkAble Tall, and LiteGait® Junior products.
