Harness

One of the most crucial components of the LiteGait design is the harness.  A successful LiteGait Harnessestreatment session requires a proper harness placement.  Comfort and proper fit is affected by harness age which adversely affects the nylon straps.  More importantly, safety is affected by the wear and tear that occurs due to use and repeated washing.  Most supporting stitches are hidden behind the exterior covering and not visually examined.  While the harness wrap and groin pieces may stay together and be used for a very long time it is advisable to replace them every two to three years.  Additionally, new harnesses for short torsos or (long) floppy upper trunk or larger girths and different populations are available.  Thigh straps and crawling harnesses are a few of new add-ons you may find useful as well.
