Mobility Research is proud to announce the arrival of the much anticipated Mobility Device™ (MD). The MD is all you have come to expect from LiteGait®, but now in the form of a walker. This is the first Supported Ambulation Assistive device of its kind! A walker that lifts and supports, the MD allows patients with a wide range of impairments to walk over ground safely.

• Brings patients weighing up to 200 pounds (larger sizes also available) from sit to stand with a push of a button. This allows the patient the ease of getting in and out of a chair or wheelchair, as well as on and off a toilet.
• Easy to load patients

Our goal has always been to design products that will allow both the clinician and the patient to accomplish more — more facilitation by therapists, and more practice by patients. To make this effort easier, the MD is a tool designed to assist both patient and therapist.

The MD can be utilized to bring patients from sit to stand with the simple push of a button, and allow them to safely ambulate. The easy to use harness simplifies the process of getting patients upright, and assists balance during ambulation for a confidence building experience.

Two models are available. The MD 200 can accommodate patients up to 200 lbs and six feet tall, but is also suitable for children, while the MD 350 is rated for patients up to 350 lbs and six feet four inches tall.
