Andrea Batt, PT

Andrea Batt, PT, has 28 years of experience. She began her career as an LPTA and immediately began working toward her PT degree. Andrea has worked in a multitude of settings, as she worked for 10 years for companies, which were contract based. She worked as a department head for 2 years in an outpatient facility connected with an inpatient rehab facility, but discovered she liked teaching and direct care better than administration. Andrea decided at that time that she wanted to focus on pediatrics. She has been a Pediatric Certified Specialist for the past 8 years, but also continues to work some in SNF contracts and a general outpatient setting. Andrea works for two different programs which have LiteGaits and treadmills, and has used the LiteGait 150 the most, but is thrilled with the LiteGait 250 with the mechanized lift and the FlexAble yoke. She enjoys having the BiSym to help with weight shifting and symmetry. She uses the system for a wide variety of activities including teaching kids in the autistic spectrum to run, step initiation / early gait training for babies with Down Syndrome and clients with CP/ TBI to take steps.
