Andrea Burch, PT
Andrea Burch, PT, graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2004 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. With her graduate school focus on LiteGait rehabilitation, using the system over treadmill she was able to help a post-CVA patient retain his running patterns and regain independence with high-level sport activities. She worked at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois before moving to Arizona. She has been working at Chandler Regional Medical Center as the Primary Inpatient Physical Therapist on the Orthopedic and Medical/Surgical Units. In 2008, Andrea was published in Physical Therapy with research that focused on the LiteGait and the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of intensive task-oriented training in improving running post stroke.
