Hidelisa “Gigi” Long

Hidelisa “Gigi” Long, PT has been a TX Physical Therapist for 22 years after finishing her BSPT degree at the University of the Philippines School of Allied Medical Professions in 1984. She gained 2 years working experience in the Philippines prior to passing the board examinations in Texas in 1986. She is currently the senior therapist in the rehabilitation unit at The Methodist Hospital-Texas Medical Center. Hidelisa and her rehab unit have been working with the LiteGait System for the past two years and utilize the LiteGait in daily treatment sessions. She has attended an intensive 4-day seminar sponsored by TIRR (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research) and NeuroRecovery Network on Locomotor Training and Principles, working with the unit Thera Stride. Her PT/OT department plans to acquire another LiteGait system in 2009 and she looks forward to passing her knowledge of the LiteGait system along to her co-workers and students.
