Accelerating Outcomes with Adjunct Therapies

Goal: Optimizing Outcomes! A fun & informative look into treatment options available to clinicians and their patients. This introductory course is designed to enable physical and occupational therapists to devise systemic applications of ultrasound, electrical stimulation and kinesio taping and body weight support for specific impairments of the movement system, including inflammation and edema, spasticity and contractures, pain, and muscle weakness. Participants will learn to improve the identified impairments and accelerate achievement of functional rehabilitation goals.
